06.19 Oude Dijk fase 1 completed!
Phase 1 of the Oude Dijk apartment complex has been delivered. The new addition to the historical monastery complex in the centre of Tilburg comprises 40 care apartments for the Sisters of Charity. Looking back to a great collaboration with developer Van der Weegen and contractor Van Gisbergen and forward to working out the second phase, consisting of two buildings that add another 60 apartments to the ensemble.

The title is given to the architect/collective of architects with the most significant contribution in the field that year. The jury’s task is to establish a shortlist of five finalists, from which the entire architecture community can vote to select the winner.

03.19 1 ¾ floors house make-over Rotterdam
A new interior make-over in Oud West, Rotterdam, for a young designers couple continues our series of conversions of early XXth century Dutch urban houses. Looking forward to collaborating with the clients on this unique project!
Our recent design for the open air museum Batavialand has been published by the museum. We hope to continue soon on this interesting new assignment.
01.19 Studio Visit
On Friday February the 15th we participate in The New Institute’s Studio Visits. We will reflect on our last eight years of practice: from the freedom – or rather the lack of obligation – to carry out self-initiated design research in the crisis period to the quest for architectural freedom within today’s ‘hermetic’ commercial building commissions, and everything in between.
Studio Visits is a series of evenings dedicated to contemporary architectural practice, its challenges and its possibilities. The series invites professionals, students and the broader public to cross the threshold and take a peek into the architect’s workplace.
